Jovanovic to China

USC men's basketball big man Nikola Jovanovic will be logging the frequent flyer miles this summer.  The Serbian sophomore will head home at some point, but he is also traveling to China with the Pac-12 all-star team as part of its Globalization Initiative.

The team, coached by Utah's Larry Krystkowiak, will play four games on the 10-day trip which is intended to improve the players' basketball games, but also enrich their lives. They will face some elite competition including three teams from the Chinese Basketball Association and one against a Chinese university all-star team.

Jovanovic played 20 minutes per game as a freshman averaging 8 points and 4.4 rebounds.
