USC men's basketball added another Top 40 player to its first recruiting class under the direction of head coach Andy Enfield, which ranks in the national Top 25.

Name: Elijah Stewart

Position: Shooting Guard

Size: 6-foot-4 and 180 pounds

High School: Westchester HS 4-Stars

Scouting Report: Stewart is the final piece to a recruiting class that features a potential starting five for the Trojans.  He is a pure two-guard with the athleticism to drive to the basket and finish at the rim, but also the skills and stroke to spread the floor and knock down threes. The Louisiana product was a late bloomer on the recruiting scene, but he flourished during his senior season at Westchester, a city powerhouse, and became a Top 40 prospect.

Enfield's Take: "We are excited to add such a terrific student-athlete to our basketball program. Elijah has been so well coached that he will be ready right away. We think he has the talent and potential to be a special player at USC."
