Happy Day for Anger

A day after USC men's tennis celebrated its 21st national championship, Trojan great Matt Anger was inducted into the ITA Men's Collegiate Tennis Hall of Fame.  Anger was a three-time All-American at Troy and won the Wimbledon junior singles title.

He went on to play eight seasons on the professional tour, winning three Grand Prix titles, and achieving a career-high singles ranking of No. 23. Anger made the round of 16 at Wimbledon and the U.S. Open in 1986, and no American man won more grand slam matches from Australian Open 1985 to Wimbledon 1987 than he did.

Currently, Anger is the men's tennis head coach at the University of Washington.
