In just over a week the USC women's water polo team will embark on a mission to defend its 2013 NCAA title as the NCAA Championships kick off at the Uytengsu Aquatics Center.  Repeating a national championship is never easy, but with the help of seven All-MPSF players, another title crown is definitely within reach.

Monica Vavic led the way on this year's All-MPSF honor roll, earning her third All-MPSF First Team selection in three years. Senior Kaleigh Gilchrist received her first All-MPSF First Team nod after a pair second-team picks the last two seasons. Seniors Flora Bolonyai, Kelly Mendoza and Madeline Rosenthal joined junior Eike Daube on the All-MPSF Honorable Mention list. Freshman Stephania Haralabidis rounded out the group by earning a spot on the All-MPSF Newcomer Team. This is the first time in USC women's water polo history that the Trojans have had six players on All-MPSF teams, not including All-Freshman/Newcomer honorees.
