Baseball Bombs Bruins

USC baseball made a loud opening statement in its key three-game series at UCLA by pounding the Bruins 10-0 to extend its winning streak to seven games.  The Trojans jumped in front early thanks to a three-run blast by Timmy Robinson in the first inning, and then cruised to victory behind ace Wyatt Strahan who has pitched 20 consecutive scoreless innings.

USC evened the season series at one game apiece, and the two rivals will square off tonight (7 p.m. on Pac-12 Networks) and Saturday (2 p.m.) with major postseason and Gauntlet implications at stake.
