In just its second year as a program, the USC women's lacrosse team is gearing up for the MPSF tournament with its sights set on its first title. Last year, the Women of Troy made it to the semifinals where they lost to Denver in their first MPSF tournament appearance ever.

"We're a young program but we want to show the country that we are really good," said sophomore defender Courtney Tarleton. "Even though we don't have that many upperclassmen, we can play like an older team."

The Trojans will look for revenge as they face Oregon in the quarterfinals of the MPSF tournament on Thursday at 7 p.m. in Denver, Colorado. Be sure to follow @USCTrojansLax for all your updates throughout the game.
