The Magic Number

No Pac-12 (or Pac-10) women's basketball team has ever won 20 games in a season and not earned a bid to the NCAA Tournament.  Thanks to a 59-54 victory over Arizona Thursday in the Pac-12 Tournament, the Women of Troy have 19 wins on the season with a chance to hit that magic number on Friday against Arizona State (2:30 p.m. on Pac-12 Networks).

Down five at the half, USC was picked up by senior Kate Oliver who made her first six shots off the bench and finished with 12 points on the afternoon.  Ariya Crook led all scorers with 19 points, and Cassie Harberts and Alexyz Vaioletama combined to pull down 23 rebounds.
