USC's own Annie Park will have a shot at partaking in the LPGA tradition of jumping into Poppie's Pond at the Mission Hills Country Club if she wins the 2014 LPGA Kraft Nabisco Championship (April 3rd-6th), as the top-ranked collegiate player was invited to participate in the tournament on Thursday.

Park was one of just 10 amateurs invited to participate in the major tournament and there's no question that she is deserving of the invitation. As a freshman, Park helped lead USC to an NCAA team title and she managed to capture the NCAA individual title as well.

She's on track to have a shot at another championship as she's already set the USC season record for rounds in the 60s with nine in just 20 rounds of golf. Park has five Top 5 finishes this season and her win at the Northrop Grumman Regional Challenge in February launched her to the top of the USC record books as she is now tied for most career wins with five under her belt already. Additionally, she currently leads the Trojans with a stroke average of 70.50 which is almost a full stroke better than the school record she set last year.

The 2014 LPGA Kraft Nabisco Championship will not be Park's first LPGA event as she has played in the past two U.S. Women's Opens but has yet to make the cut.
