USC senior swimmer Kasey Carlson is an 11-time All-American, but she is still searching for her first NCAA title.  Specializing in the free and breast strokes, Carlson has a trio of national runner-up finishes, and now she has one last chance to touch the wall first.

Carlson leads 12 Women of Troy to the NCAA Championships in Minneapolis this week (March 20-22) coming off a third-place team finish in the Pac-12 Championships.  No. 5 USC boasts Olympic veterans Stina Gardell, Kasia Wilk and Lynette Lim plus defending NCAA platform winner Haley Ishimatsu.

Carlson enters the meet ranked in the top 5 in three events. She is second in the 100y free, fourth in the 50y free and fifth in the 100y breast. Carlson won the Pac-12 title in the 50y free and was second in the 100y breast and was fourth in the 100y free.
