Finding Their Feet

USC women's tennis was understandably rocked by losing its best player Sabrina Santamaria for the season due to a knee injury.  After suffering back-to-back losses in the immediate aftermath of the news, the Women of Troy have bounced back to win three consecutive dual matches including Sunday's sweep in Seattle over Washington.

The latest win was keyed by senior Brynn Boren and junior Gabriella DeSimone who each won doubles matches before cruising to 6-2, 6-2 victories in singles play.  Next up, the Women of Troy return home to Marks Stadium to host Oregon (Friday at 1:30 p.m.) and Washington State (Saturday at 1 p.m.).
