USC men's basketball and its loyal fans needed this.  At long last, the Trojans snapped their 10-game losing streak and picked up their first conference road win of the Andy Enfield era.

Byron Wesley and Julian Jacobs were the catalysts in a 79-68 victory at Washington State.  The Trojans turned around a seven-point second half deficit thanks to Wesley's 31 points (20 in the second half) and 10 rebounds, plus Jacobs' stat-stuffing line of 7 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists.

"It has been a frustrating year, as far as wins and losses goes. I think we have been playing hard and these guys deserved this win tonight," said head coach Andy Enfield.

In the big picture, the win slides USC up to the 11th spot in the Pac-12, which would mean an opening round game in the night session on Wednesday in Las Vegas.  The Trojans wrap up the regular season at Washington on Saturday (Pac-12 Networks at 1:30 p.m.).
