2014 USC Pro Day Recap

Scouts from all 32 NFL teams were out and ready to evaluate the 21 Trojans who participated in Wednesday's Pro Day. All the prospects performed to the best of their ability with the major highlights coming from the inside drills at the John McKay Center.

During the inside portion of the workout, CB Torin Harris excelled in both the vertical and standing jump leading the Trojans with jumps of 41 and 10'10 while John Martinez impressed a lot of scouts with his 42-rep bench press.

Outside on Cromwell field, notable prospects Marqise Lee, Devon Kennard and Dion Bailey chose not to participate in the 40-yard dash since they had already been tested at the NFL Combine. However, Lee showed the scouts why he's one of the top prospects in the country making a few outstanding catches during the individual workout. Kennard, proving his speed and versatility during the shuttle drills and the defensive line workouts, reminded the audience why he was a Ronnie Lott Award finalist last season. Finally, Bailey proved that you don't need to run a 4.3 to be a top safety prospect as he managed his drills with relative ease.

"What I did I felt like I excelled in. I performed well, got good reviews and I'm feeling good," said Bailey. "People get hyped about testing but we play football. I just let my tapes speak for me. I've done a lot of things that I'm proud of."

Here are all the highlights from today's action:
