Incoming USC freshmen Brittany Abercrombie, Lauryn Gillis and Jordan Dunn were all chosen to Volleyball Magazine's 2014 Girls' Fab 50 list on Wednesday. The trio of incoming Trojans join a prestigious list of Fab 50 alumni such as Olympians Logan Tom, Lindsey Berg and Misty May-Treanor as well as current Trojan freshmen Ebony Nwanebu and Elise Ruddins.
Abercrombie comes from volleyball powerhouse La Costa Canyon High School that produced USC All-Americans Natalie Hagglund and Katie Fuller. She will join the Trojans as an outside hitter along with Gillis whereas Dunn will enter USC as a middle-blocker.
The Fab trio will join a Trojan team with high expectations for the 2014 season after losing in the NCAA regional championships to their Pac-12 rival, the Washington Huskies in 2013.
