Lauded as one of the top prospects in the country upon arriving at USC, Anthony Paolucci is beginning to fulfill his potential at Troy.  The junior golfer won his first collegiate title at the Jones Invitational in Somis yesterday leading the Trojans to a second place finish.

Paolucci's momentum started away from the team when he nearly qualified for the PGA Tour topping his second stage group to advance to the final round of Q School.  This season, he has taken up residence on the front page of the leaderboard with four top 10 finishes.

On Tuesday, he used all that experience to birdie the 18th hole and snag a long awaited victory.  "I'm very happy for Anthony," USC Coach Chris Zambri said. "He has been close and this is well deserved. It's disappointing that the team did not get the victory and it stings to come this close and lose. The good news is there is tons of golf left to be played this year we are playing pretty well."
