The winning streak could not last forever.  USC women's golf finally faltered at the Allstate Sugar Bowl Intercollegiate finishing second behind UCLA, and snapping the Women of Troy's record-setting run at eight consecutive tournament victories.

Nevertheless, the dominant Trojans remain No. 1 in the country for the 12th poll in a row.  The Women of Troy are ranked in the top 5 for the 20th consecutive time.

It is also the 64th straight poll in which USC is ranked in the top 10, breaking the longest streak of top 10 appearances for any women's program since the poll resumed in 2001-02.  The Women of Troy entered the top 10 in November 2006, and have not budged since.
