USC head coach Steve Sarkisian has officially named former Georgia assistant Chris Wilson the new defensive line coach.  The latest addition completes Sarkisian's inaugural full-time coaching staff at Troy.

"I'm extremely excited to join Coach Sarkisian's staff and to have the opportunity to be at a university with the tradition of USC," said Wilson, who has also coached at Oklahoma, Colorado and Mississippi State.  "I believe we can be as good as any team in the country."

Wilson, who was a two-time captain as a linebacker for the Oklahoma Sooners, took over a Georgia defensive line in 2013 decimated by NFL defections and graduation.  The rebuilt unit finished 28th nationally in sacks.

"We are thrilled to add Chris Wilson to our coaching staff," said Sarkisian.  "He is one of the premier defensive line coaches in the country and he is also a great recruiter."
