Well Represented

The Stanford-USC rivalry was all over Century Link Field on Sunday.  As Pete Carroll and Jim Harbaugh looked on from opposing sidelines, Cardinal great Richard Sherman tapped the game-clinching interception into former USC LB Malcolm Smith's waiting arms.

The Trojan secured the pick and a Super Bowl berth for the USC-Hawks after Jack Del Rio's defense earned the Broncos a trip to New York by shutting down Tom Brady.  Backup OL Winston Justice will also represent USC for Denver as will LB Michael Morgan for Seattle.

With three more active Trojans making the Super Bowl, the all-time count will reach 107.  There have only been five Super Bowls that did not include a USC alum, and this will not be one of them.
