The USC men's water polo team heads to Stanford this weekend to attempt something unprecedented in collegiate water polo history; six back-to-back national championships. The Trojans launched their unbroken championship streak by defeating the Cardinal at Stanford in 2008 and now return to Palo Alto in hopes of another title. The excitement begins on Saturday at 1 p.m. as USC, in its ninth straight trip to the tournament, takes on the winner of No. 5 St. Francis Brooklyn and No. 4 UC San Diego. No. 2 Pacific will play the winner of No. 3 Stanford and No. 6 Whittier for the semifinal on the other side of the bracket. The championship game will be played Sunday at 3 p.m.
