As a player, Munday captained Team USA to a gold medal at the 2013 Federation of International Lacrosse (FIL) World Cup.  She scored nine goals and dished out 14 assists to earn All-World Team honors.  And as a coach, she led the Women of Troy to eight wins in the program's inaugural season and a berth in the conference tournament.

"I'm incredibly honored to be named Lacrosse Magazine's Person of the Year," said Munday, who is only the second woman to be so honored. "I am so grateful to be able to coach and play a sport that I love so much. Lacrosse has given me so many amazing opportunities, and I hope that in some way I can help the next generation of girls accomplish their lacrosse dreams. I truly believe that if you dream big and are willing to work for it, anything can happen."
