USC women's volleyball senior captain Natalie Hagglund has been named a finalist for the 2014 Senior CLASS Award which emphasizes community, classroom, competition and character.

On the court, Hagglund is the Trojans' career leader in digs with 2,095 and counting.  She is already a two-time All-American libero, and continues to pursue a national championship with the No. 4 Women of Troy.

In the classroom,
she holds one of the highest grade point averages on the squad and will graduate in 2014 with a degree in communication from the prestigious Annenberg School for Communication. She will also receive a minor in occupational therapy. In 2012, Hagglund was named a Capital One CoSIDA Academic All-American (third team) and was also chosen to the All-District VIII team.

In the community,
Hagglund has been actively involved in several philanthropic team and student-athlete functions including efforts towards Movember; a nationwide campaign aimed at raising awareness and funds for men's health issues surrounding prostate and testicular cancer. She has also served as an ambassador for the Pac-12 as a member of the conference's all-star team that visited China in the summer of 2013.
