The USA women's lacrosse team captured the FIL World Cup title on Saturday with help from USC lacrosse coaches Lindsey Munday and Devon Wills. Munday captained the team and scored one goal and two assists in the 19-5 championship victory over Canada. The Trojan head coach had nine goals and 15 assists while Wills notched 16 saves over the course of the tournament.

Team USA outscored opponents 127-34 en route to their seventh World Cup championship. Both Munday and Wills won gold in 2009 when the U.S. narrowly defeated Australia, 8-7.
