Each July the ESPYs are held to determine the best players, coaches, and moments of the previous athletic year. Last night, USC men's basketball head coach Andy Enfield took home the award for Best Upset with his former FGCU team.
Facing the No. 2 seed Georgetown in the first round of this year's NCAA Tournament, Enfield led FGCU to a 78-68 upset followed by a 71-61 victory over San Diego State to become the first No. 15 seed to advance to the Sweet Sixteen.
Andy and his wife Amanda hit the red carpet at the Nokia Theater in Los Angeles, and mingled with other ESPY nomineees, ESPN hosts, and were interviewed by Sam and Christian Ponder.
