The U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced it's 2013 Coaches Hall of Fame class and former USC head coach Ron Allice was amongst the list. Selections are determined by the significant impact coaches made on the history of track and field at the national, collegiate, and international levels.
Allice led the men and women's track programs to a combined 25 NCAA top 10 finishes as well as 32 individual NCAA titles. In his 19 years at the helm of USC's track program he coached 286 All-American first team selections and 54 athletes coached under Allice have won 16 medals at the Olympics. Athletes such as Balazs Kiss, Bryshon Nellum, Angela Williams, Virginia Powell, and more were all students during Allice's tenure.
