Sand Volley Gets the Nod

In the program's second season, USC women's sand volleyball has been selected to compete in the American Volleyball Coaches Association Collegiate Sand Volleyball National Championship tournament in Gulf Shores, Ala., May 3 to 5.

The Women of Troy felt spurned not to make the final four last year, but they will battle the six-team field for a national championship in 2013.  The Trojans are seeded No. 4 behind Pepperdine, Long Beach State and Florida State.

USC's top two pairs, Kirby Burnham-Stevi Robinson and Katie Fuller-Cinnamon Sary, will also compete in the pairs championship.

Burnham and the Trojans are ready to take on the nation's best.
