Position - Defensive Line
Class - Freshman
Size - 6-foot-3 and 295 pounds
Age - 17
High School - Eastern Christian Academy (Elkton, MD)
Game - Bigelow is already built like a college player, which is rare for someone so young. He has the strength and athleticism to play any of three spots up front for Clancy Pendergast, but he is starting out at nose tackle.
Prep Career - At Red Lion Christian Academy and Eastern Christian Academy, Bigelow split time at defensive line and tight end. His high school only played three games during his senior season, but he was still named a U.S. Army All-American.
Spring Ball - While he was on the wrong end of a "welcome to college" pancake block from Jordan Simmons during the first practice, Bigelow is a big time talent. Don't expect him to redshirt. The defensive line lacks depth and Coach O prefers a two-deep rotation, so Bigelow should push Antwaun Woods at the nose.
To Quote Bigelow - "I never want to be satisfied with my performance. I want to get better and better everyday and someday be a great Trojan."
