Bill Ferguson is trying to mold a young USC men's volleyball team that has the proven talent to beat No. 1 UC Irvine and former No. 2 Stanford, but has also shown the inconsistency to drop four of six to start the season. The Trojans will need to find their game soon with a busy stretch of five matches in the next 13 days starting with a road test at Long Beach State tonight.
