Former USC women's soccer All-American Ashley Nick, who captained the 2007 national championship team, has returned to the Women of Troy to serve as the Director of Operations. Since leaving USC, Nick has played at the highest levels of the sport including winning the Dutch Championship and playing in the Champions League as skipper of FC Twente.
"I am very excited to have one of the greatest Trojans ever to represent this women's soccer team to be returning to the program," said head coach Ali Khosroshahin. "Not only is Ashley so bright and capable of excelling in this position, it will be so great to have someone who can mentor the team. She can really offer the ladies a great perspective on leadership and maturity, and her soccer experience is so vast as well."
The Trojans also announced the signing of five new recruits for the class of 2013. Click here for a breakdown of the class.
