USC men's basketball has rallied around interim head coach Bob Cantu whose even-keeled approach has loosened up the locker room and the offense. 

Since he took over, the Trojans are averaging 72 points per game.  In the first 17 games, USC only scored 72+ points twice.

"If you mess up, instead of yelling at you, he's still giving you confidence," said sophomore Byron Wesley to Jeff Goodman.  "That's what we needed."
