Former Women of Troy basketball player and current USC senior Jade Smith is on the cover of this month's Runner's World.
Smith played hoops as a freshman, but she was a talented sprinter in high school as well. She now does most of her running on the beach for recreation.
"I love the breeze and the ocean views," says Smith. "I get lost in my music and the endlessness of the scenery."
