USC started the season with 47 Trojans in the NFL, but as Conference Championship weekend approaches, only Atlanta Falcons LT Sam Baker is still in the Super Bowl hunt.
This time last year, Baker was an afterthought as a reserve lineman. The former first round draft pick and three-time All-American at USC responded with an intense offseason training regiment which resurrected his body and career.

"Just getting healthy and feeling good has really helped me. It's definitely been my best season so far. I think I can get even better," Baker told Lev.
In order to stay in the playoff hunt, Baker's Falcons defeated Pete Carroll's Seahawks on a dramatic last second field goal. As Sam Farmer of the LA Times detailed, Baker is still a huge admirer of his old USC coach.
The Falcons host the 49ers in the NFC Championship Game on Sunday at Noon PT.
