Rivals Rating - 5-stars (No. 1 Safety, No. 5 Overall)

Just like Max Browne on the other side of the ball, Cravens was named the USA Today All-USA Defensive Player of the Year. He was also the Gatorade California Player of the Year and a U.S. Army All-American.  Cravens was all over the field in high school as a defensive back, linebacker, wide receiver and running back.  He had 97 tackles, 8 sacks, 3 interceptions, 4 forced fumbles and 3 blocked punts on defense in 2012, and also accounted for 542 yards and 14 TDs on offense.  Cravens' family tree is something to behold.  His sister Malia is a sophomore on the USC women's basketball team, while his cousins, Jordan and Brynn Cameron, played football and basketball as Trojans.  He also is related to Utah head football coach Kyle Whittingham and Notre Dame LB Manti Te'o.

Spring Q.) Can Cravens start from day one?

The USC secondary was decimated this offseason with the losses of T.J. McDonald, Jawanza Starling and Nickell Robey.  While the safety position still boasts depth in Gerald Bowman, Demetrius Wright and potentially Josh Shaw, Cravens will have every opportunity to be a key member of the defensive back unit in 2013.

Here are some highlights of Su'a Cravens in action...
