Rivals Rating - 5-stars (No. 2 Safety, No. 22 Overall)

McQuay chose USC publicly at the Under Armour All-American Game.  He made USA Today All-USA second team as a senior after making the first team the previous season.  McQuay recorded 13 interceptions during his final three years of high school play combined.  He was recently named one of five finalists for the Franklin D. Watkins Award, which recognizes the nation's top African-American male high school scholar athlete.  McQuay has an excellent pedigree with his grandfather Leon McQuay I who was a running back in the NFL and CFL.

Spring Q.) Will the Florida pipeline continue to bear fruit?

Lane Kiffin had great success recruiting Florida during his time as a USC assistant, and he has continued to flourish in the Sunshine State as a head coach.  Among others, Kiffin has brought in All-Pac-12 CB Nickell Robey, Freshman All-American Leonard Williams and Freshman Second-Team All-American Nelson Agholor to continue the tradition of Mike Williams and Keith Rivers.  McQuay is the latest Florida prep standout to choose 'SC over the SEC.  While football was a major factor in his decision, McQuay has an eye on a musical career.  When the helmet comes off, the headphones go on for the aspiring music producer who anticipates majoring in audio engineering at USC.
