Kenny Bigelow, DL, Eastern Christian Academy (Elkton, MD)

Rivals Rating - 5-stars (No. 1 DT and No. 12 Overall)

Bigelow is a physical specimen, but Eastern Christian Academy played only three games last season, so he has not had a lot of competitive football lately.  Nevertheless, he was a U.S. Army All-American.  As a junior at Red Lion Christian Academy in Delaware, he recorded 20 sacks and 40 tackles.  Bigelow told that he's excited to play for Coach O, "I think me and Coach Orgeron have a great connection going on. It was a huge deal knowing that a guy like that really wanted me to come out and play for his team. It made a big impact on me."

Spring Q.) What position will Bigelow play at USC?

Much like Leonard Williams, Bigelow comes in as a defensive end, but seems to be growing into a defensive tackle.  Clancy Pendergast coordinator will have a big say in Bigelow's future.  He is likely a defensive tackle in USC's current system which emphasizes speed over size, but a new coach means a new scheme.

Here is Bigelow's powerful speech at the U.S. Army All-American jersey presentation...
