On a frigid evening, the Trojans wrapped up the penultimate practice of the season.
- For anyone that is around this team on a consistent basis, USC seems to have as good a spirit as the Trojans have had all season. Nickell Robey agreed, "We just changed our whole mindset after the Notre Dame week and we came back on the field...and our passion for the game was just different for some reason."
- Speaking of Robey, he remains undecided on his NFL future.
- Both LB Tony Burnett and DT Leonard Williams reiterated their sincerest apologies to the people of El Paso. Burnett spoke at length about prejudging the city, but he has had his mind completely changed by his experiences this week. Both explained that they are human and made mistakes, but they have learned their lesson and continue to have a great time at the Sun Bowl.
- Tonight, the team will receive its bowl gifts. USC will visit a local hospital tomorrow after a final morning practice.
