Head coach Lane Kiffin attended the introductory press conference for the Hyundai Sun Bowl this morning in El Paso, TX. Kiffin is fired up to take his team to its first bowl game in three years.
"We're very excited about this bowl game and going down there and meeting the people of El Paso," Kiffin said at practice yesterday. "Everything that we've heard is that they do a phenomenal job of welcoming you and taking care of you while you're down there."

I don't know if i can concur with the term excitement for the Sun Bowl, however I am proud of out teams enthusiam toward participation in a Bowl after 3 years of abstinence. I am very disappointed in our coaches. Jim Mora across town, made a substandard team competitive all down the wire. Impressive fight in the championship game, I was surprised. Our coaches took an elite team and made them irrelevant. In the stand the women were calling the prdiction of the plays, particularly the ones up the middle. If these women knew what was coming, what does the other team know??? GET ORGANIZED, we need a dedicated OC AND DC. A head coach sets up the priorities and plans and policies and the coaches he selects carry out his plan. He makes change and adjustments as he sees fit. An analyst should analyze, can't coach and analyze at the same time. Just an opinion
