USC senior center Khaled Holmes was named a second team Capital One Academic All-American today to go along with his All-Pac-12 Academic first team selection.

The Trojan captain has already earned his undergraduate degree in communication and has spent the year working towards his master's in communication management. He is also a finalist for the Rimington Award, given to the nation's top center, which will be announced tonight at the College Football Awards in Orlando.
