Pete Carroll, Head Coach, Seahawks - Clinched postseason berth with 42-13 beat down of the 49ers
When Pete Carroll returned to the NFL, the skeptics were lining up to call him "a college coach," but he has taken Seattle to the playoffs in two of his three seasons in charge. Even more, the Seahawks are on fire right now winning their last three games by a combined 150 to 30. The 42 points that Carroll's team put on San Francisco was the most during the Jim Harbaugh era. With a rookie quarterback and the franchise's first 10-win season since 2007, Carroll is a leading candidate for NFL Coach of the Year.
