Rice transfer Omar Oraby was cleared to play for USC this season after his NCAA petition was approved. The 7'2" center could start the opening game for the Trojans as he's been working alongside fellow seven-footer Dewayne Dedmon.
Oraby, who set the Owls school record for blocks with 54 last season, was the star of the Salute to Troy preseason exhibition. The junior is a mountainous presence, but displays soft hands and the ability to finish around the bucket.
