In our weekly conversation with the head coach, Lane Kiffin elaborated on his plans to start Max Wittek this Saturday and what it means in terms of the game plan against Notre Dame.
Interesting that as Lane said, no one expected us to be a contender when the near death penalty was levied. Now that we did well last year and we were expected to do well this year people are talking about replacing Lane.
Lane has given us an exciting offense and great recruiting. SC football will achieve huge success with his gifts. This year has been very difficult based on our expectations; however, those expectations were only created due to Lane's success in keeping many players, replacing many players with excellent recruits, and most importantly winning.
Mr. Hayden, I hope you can do the math and know that we are lucky to have Lane. One year does not make a career. He will be back and we will see championships on his watch.
