USC student-athletes have joined forces in serving the surrounding community. So far, the program has logged almost 1,000 hours of service.

On October 6, 100 student athletes volunteered for Marathon for Kids, held at the Los Angeles Coliseum. Marathon for Kids is a program that encourages healthy living for communities around the country. The children learn about healthy eating habits and work to complete 26.2 miles over the duration of a six-month period.

The USC Women's Basketball, Women's Lacrosse, and the Track and Field teams ran along with the children and cheered them on as they ran around the Coliseum. The athletes also signed autographs at the finish line.
