Vote Banks for Courage

Former USC football commit Brian Banks had his dreams derailed by a wrongful jail sentence which placed him behind bars for more than five years.  With the help of the California Innocence Project, Banks was exonerated in 2012 when his accuser changed her testimony.

Now, Banks is on the comeback trail as he works toward a career in football after a decade of fighting for his life and honor.

Banks has been nominated as an America's Choice Honoree, a fan-based voting award on Facebook, and the winner will be featured on "Courage in Sports" which airs Nov. 11 on CBS at 5pm ET.

Pete Carroll, who once offered Banks a scholarship, gave the linebacker a tryout with the Seahawks.
