Seven Trojans could feature in the Monday Night Football doubleheader, but here are the best performances from the opening weekend...
Heisman Worthy
Mark Sanchez, QB, Jets - 19/27 for 266 yards and 3 TDs to 1 INT for a 123.4 QB rating
After an offseason of non-stop drama in the media capital of the country, Sanchez quieted the critics with a sterling performance in week one. The Jets did not score an offensive touchdown in the preseason, but Sanchez tossed for three scores in a 48-28 annihilation of the Buffalo Bills. In all, USC quarterbacks threw nine touchdown passes over the weekend at MetLife Stadium.
