As is customary, USC women's soccer kicks off the 2012-13 Trojan athletic calendar with a season-opening game at Cal State Fullerton this Friday (August 17) at 7 p.m.
The Women of Troy feature 20 new players on their roster of 34, so the hopes of a bounceback season after missing the NCAA Tournament in 2011 are bright. Ali Khosroshahin's young team won an exhibition game last week 3-0 over Cal Poly and all three goals were either scored or created by freshmen.
