Rebecca Soni has a night to figure out what to do for an encore.
The reigning Olympic champion in the 200m breaststroke set a new world record by swimming her semifinal heat in 2:20.00 today. Soni bested the field by 2.23 seconds.
Hopefully, she has something left for Thursday's final at 11:40 a.m. pacific.
