Olympic Spotlight: Closing in Style

Allyson Felix won her third gold medal of the 2012 London Games running for Team USA's women's 4x400m relay team. USA narrowly defeated second-place Russia by three seconds.
Felix (pictured via Getty Images) is the sixth Trojan to win four gold medals in a career, joining the ranks of Janet Evans, Lenny Krayzelburg, John Naber, Murray Rose and Lisa Leslie.

Former USC libero Nicole Davis and Team USA women's volleyball earned silver medals after falling short to second-ranked Brazil in a rematch of the 2008 Beijing Games. This is Davis' second silver medal.

The gold and silver medals earned today pushed USC's medal count to a school-record 25 in one Olympics. This is the greatest Olympics in USC history.
