Comparison - Lane Kiffin commented that Tuerk is unique to the program given his body, skills and versatility. He could play any of the five positions by the time his career at Troy comes to an end.
Prep Career - The All-American led Santa Margarita to the CIF Pac-5 and CIF Division I state titles in 2011.
Fall Camp - Tuerk has been one of the stories of fall camp as he continues to push Aundrey Walker at left tackle. True freshman do not often make an impact on the line, but Tuerk will likely backup at multiple positions and should see the field this season.
To Quote Tuerk - "Every practice is like a high school game. It is a huge adjustment."
