Barbara Hedges, the first ever senior women's administrator at USC, is back working at Heritage Hall as a development consultant. Hedges is expected to play a key role in the "Heritage Initiative" fundraising campaign, which will be unveiled next Tuesday.
Hedges was credited with pioneering the USC women's athletics program during her 18-year tenure as a Trojan administrator. From Troy, she went on to be the athletic director at the University of Washington from 1991 to 2004.
She was inducted into the USC Athletic Hall of Fame this past spring.
