One need only look up in the rafters last night to understand Paula Weishoff's legacy in USC women's volleyball. The two-time Olympic medalist and former Women of Troy All-American coached under her own retired jersey this week as the U.S. Women's National Volleyball Team swept Bulgaria in a pair of London 2012 tuneups at Galen Center.
Weishoff, who was an assistant at USC for the better part of the last decade under Mick Haley, is currently assisting No. 1 ranked Team USA.
