While USC is sending 39 Trojans to the Olympic Games, current student Eric Hollen will represent the Cardinal and Gold at the Paralympic Games in London. Though Hollen has been confined to a wheelchair since injuring his spine in a tractor accident a decade ago, he has become an elite shooter, who will compete for Team USA in the 10-meter air pistol and 50-meter pistol events.

"My injury has provided me with so many opportunities that I would not trade it for the world," Hollen said. "I hope to be able to inspire others to find their Olympic effort."
Hollen is a student in the Virtual Academic Center at the USC School of Social Work, which he praises for its versatility to web-based students. His ultimate goal is to work with disabled veterans and serve as a source of inspiration.
