USC women's lacrosse head coach Lindsey Munday has big plans for 2013. After two years of building the program, she will lead the Women of Troy into NCAA competition for the first time in the spring and then captain the U.S. Women's National Team in the 2013 World Cup next summer in Canada.

Munday and Trojan assistant coach Devon Wills are currently training with Team USA in preparation for this weekend's North American Challenge Cup in Ontario, Canada. The announcement of her captaincy was made at a team dinner.
"It's a huge honor. I'm so fortunate to be a part of this team. I think everyone feels that. We're all so lucky to represent our country, and it's crazy surprising that I was voted [captain]," Munday told Lax Magazine.
